The Volvo World Golf Challenge is Volvo's global golf series for customers and prospective clients. About 70,000 players from 30 countries take part all over the world. The qualifiers from each country get to play in the World Final , this year staged at the Zimbali Golf Course 9th - 10th January, close to Durban.

The top 17 finishers from the field of 67 world finalists will participate in the ‘Amateur-Pro Team Competition’ on Friday 11th January, we call it ‘Playing with the Pros’. The professionals will continue to play individual strokeplay format, while each amateur will be paired with two professionals to comprise a team. The best two scores of the three team members on each hole will count towards the team total, with amateurs receiving shots according to their handicaps.

The two professionals in the winning team will each win a Volvo V40 car.
